Fish are amazing. Did you know that some fish can use tools and are capable of recognising individual human faces?
When you think of a fish, you probably picture them in the wild in the open sea or a river. Sadly, the reality is that millions of fish are now raised in factory farms each year in the UK. These sensitive animals must endure painful sea lice and cramped conditions on the farms before they are slaughtered.
Shockingly, fish don't have the same legal protections as other farmed animals like pigs and chickens. Because of this, investigations at UK fish farms have revealed salmon having their gills cut while fully conscious and being repeatedly clubbed.
