How to raise money and help animals while you shop

Let’s face it, you can buy pretty much anything on Amazon, from groceries to gifts. But while you’re shopping you can also be doing good. All you need to do is go to Amazon Smile and select The Humane League UK as your chosen charity.

Each time you shop on Amazon, simply go to the Smile link (Amazon will remind you when you’re logged in) and shop 'til you drop!

Whenever you buy something eligible, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price to The Humane League UK and we’ll use it to help animals suffering on factory farms. The best thing? It costs you nothing!

It takes two minutes to sign up and select a cause. Make it even easier by adding the Chrome extension to your browser, or downloading the app so you never forget.

Then all you need to do is shop as usual. easyfundraising is partnered with over 4200 retailers and whenever you shop at one of these, easyfundraising will send you a reminder to let you know a donation is available.

If you have some treasures that you don’t need anymore, consider selling them on eBay. When you list an item, you can choose to donate a portion of the sale price to charity. When you buy something from eBay, and pay via PayPal, you can quickly add on a donation amount. eBay and PayPal make this really simple for you.

If you don’t want to spend extra, but want to give while shopping, there’s a quick way you can ensure that you’re buying from sellers giving to charity. eBay allows you to filter by ‘Benefits charity’ so that, whatever you buy, you know that a percentage is going to a good cause.
